Laughter, Food & Fun Events – West Waterford Festival of Food 2019 Festival Photography
The 12th annual West Waterford Festival of Food was a roaring success again this year. It took place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th April and it was an action-packed fun filled weekend for all. This is my 12th year doing festival photography and I always love capturing the pure joy and love of food that epitomizes the weekend.Over 30,000 people came to the Festival which featured markets, classes, demos, talks, dinners, popup restaurants and family friendly events throughout Dungarvan and West Waterford.
I am always amazed at how well the festival is organised and how many events are packed into such a short time. Well done to all involved in the festival. Be sure to keep space in your diary for next year’s West Waterford Festival of Food as it’s definitely worth enjoying check out the website www.westwaterfordfestivaloffood.com

Donal Skehan films at Flahavan’s Mill – Workplace and Event Photography by David Clynch Commercial Photography Ireland
Celebrity chef Donal Skehan recently visited Flahavan’s Mill in Kilmacthomas, County Waterford. I was asked by Flahavan’s to capture some behind the scenes stills as Donal and his crew recorded for his YouTube channel.Donal cycled on the Wateford Greenway and stopped to take in the view with Flahavan’s mill in the background. He then filmed outside the mill before meeting the owner John Flahavan who showed Donal the workings of the mill and the processes involved in creating Flahavan’s delicious oatflakes. He then whipped up a few recipes using Flahavan’s porridge oats. Donal then took the time to get a photograph with him and all the staff.
I always enjoy working with Flahavan’s and it was pleasure to meet Donal and his team. Here are a small selection of the photographs from the visit.
